Penlight Indexing Services is based in Manila, Philippines and is operated by Jino Escudero. In January 2025, I began my indexing journey by training with the American Society for Indexing. Since then, I’ve continued honing my conceptual analysis skills, attended indexing conferences, and have since become a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers.

I can index various types of technical and nonfiction texts in all manner of topics and fields. For academic texts, my main strengths lie in History, Linguistics, Literary Studies, and Philippine Studies. I am also deeply interested in Political Science, Asian Studies, and Southeast Asian Studies.
